Centre turns four

THE Emerging Communities Resource Centre (ECRC) in Lakemba will celebrate its fourth anniversary next week
Over the past four years, the ECRC has helped hundreds of newly-arrived residents to the City of Canterbury make social connections and build capacity for employment and volunteering through leadership training, job preparation and vocational courses.
The Canterbury Multicultural Advisory Committee invites the local community to an anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 14, 3-6pm.
Deputy Mayor Cr Khodr Saleh says he is proud of the difference the ECRC is making to Canterbury’s culturally-diverse communities.
The Centre is located at Lakemba Library.
